The number one question we get is, "how do I use this stuff?" That's not such a silly question. There are many ways our customers use the Carolina Sweet Heat Pepper Spread and PITB Dry Rub Seasoning.
Let's start with the Dry Rub Seasoning. As you would expect, the rub is great on all your meats, chicken and even light enough for seafood. Add the dry rub to your vegetables and enhance the natural flavor. It's pretty simple to use, and a little goes a long way.
Now for the Sweet Heat Pepper Spread.... It was developed as a condiment for the BBQ pork and chicken we were producing. It certainly works great for that. Try it on a hot dog, burger or best of all.....a bratwurst. Here are just some of the ideas we and our customers have come up with:
Sweet Heat as a condiment for fries, chips, pretzels, sandwiches, etc.
Sweet Heat deviled eggs - substitute Sweet Heat for the mustard in your deviled egg recipe and sprinkle some dry rub over the eggs.
Sweet Heat bloody mary - add a tablespoon or two to your favorite mix and rim the glass with the dry rub.
Sweet Heat Dip - pour Sweet Heat over a block of cream cheese and scoop away.
Sweet Heat as a basting sauce - baste your chicken or pork before grilling
Sweet Heat Mac n Cheese - add a little Sweet Heat to your Mac n Cheese to give it a little zing.
These are just a few off the ways our products are being used. New ways are brought to our attention all the time. We'd love to hear how you "Dig the Pig"!
